Audyssey AVE - The Portal to the Immortal

Composed by Gavin Lawson

"The Portal to the Immortal" reimagines ancient solstice rituals through a 30-minute electronic music performance that merges production tools (Ableton Live 12, Serum, Pigments, Max for Live) with field recordings and ritualistic rhythms. By translating ancestral practices into a contemporary electronic framework, this composition is designed for live performance and creates a liminal space for consciousness exploration, aligning with both historical solstice ceremonies and modern principles of sonic entrainment.

Audyssey AVE - Musecology (Composed by Gavin Lawson)

A calling to Pan: The god of the wild, shepherds, and rustic music, associated with nature and forests to guide the synthesis of sound with Pigments' polychrome palette painting vibrant sonic landscapes, while Tela's modal synthesis echoes the intricate patterns of ecosystems. Tree Tone grows auditory forests, each branch a resonating melody mimicking nature's fractal beauty. Chiral bends conventional boundaries, exploring uncharted sonic territories like a curious explorer in untamed wilderness. Lux and Glänta add harmonic and fundamental FM textures, reminiscent of sunlight filtering through leaves. Together, these synthesiser’s weave a tapestry of sound that mirrors the complexity, beauty, and organic flow of the natural world, reminding us that in both music and nature, creativity knows no bounds.

Live electronic music performance & flicker light stimulation to induce altered states of consciousness.

Presenting a 20 minute composition created with Ableton Live, Wavetable and Spectral Instruments, Poly Rhythms, Kings Chamber Impulse Response and multiple effects designed in maxforlive.

Data sonification using chatgpt, sonic pi and genome mono nucleotide sequences converted into the scale of F# minor with Maria Renold Tuning I & II combined.

Cyberdelic Symposium

Oxford University

Audyssey AVE Shares the latest developments in sonic architecture combined with the Roxiva RX1.

Cyberdelics apply ancient and modern technologies to induce altered states of consciousness that are similar to psychedelics. In other words, they create trips without the drugs. Cyberdelics include AI-generated trip simulations, VR games and experiences inspired by psychedelics, flicker light frequencies hallucinations and cutting-edge technology.

Audyssey AVE - Unity (Composed by Gavin Lawson)

Description: can we achieve unity in a festival with sound alone?

“Researchers ultimately found that the individuals’ brain activity synchronised with the rhythms they were hearing, notably at 1.65 hertz, where they experienced this feeling of “unity” the most.”
